Are any supported formats compatible with GS1 Databar?

I'm looking for a library that can read in (not necessarily generate) GS1 DataBar images.

These seem related to a number of other formats, but I can't find an answer to what other formats (if any) it complies with, or if any open-source c# libraries can read it. Does anyone have a clue whether ZXing.Net can?

Here is the description of the DataBar format, from gs1.org:
"GS1 DataBar™ symbols can carry more information and identify small items than the current EAN/UPC bar code. GS1 DataBar enables GTIN identification for fresh variable measure and hard-to-mark products like loose produce, jewelry and cosmetics. Additionally, GS1 DataBar can carry GS1 Application Identifiers such as serial numbers, lot numbers, and expiration dates, creating solutions to support product authentication and traceability for fresh food products and couponing."

ZXing.Net can't read or create such a barcode. Feel free to provide a patch.
Btw. the GS1 specification is used with different other 1D and 2D codes. It defines the structure of the content.
