Object reference not set to an instance of an object - QR Code

Feb 6, 2014 at 3:25 PM
Hi there. I have a simple QRcode that I'm trying to decode using a webcam using ZXing. Most barcodes seem to work but this one in particular doesn't. It's failing on:

at ZXing.QrCode.Internal.AlignmentPattern.op_Implicit(AlignmentPattern point) in c:\Users\Wayne\Downloads\barcodereader8-21298\Source\lib\qrcode\detector\AlignmentPattern.cs:line 116

QRCode - http://sdrv.ms/1c78cC8

Any help would be much appreciated thank you :)

You are using an old version of ZXing.Net from another project:
ZXing.Net in Windows Store App Sample code
https://barcodereader8.codeplex.com

Please update the ZXing.Net source code in your working copy to the latests sources from here.

Hi there. I downloaded the latest in that solution using NuGet actually. Sorry I should've mentioned that. Sent from my iPhone

But you doesn't use the version from NuGet for your tests.
The stacktrace says that you use the version from the project I mentioned above:
c:\Users\Wayne\Downloads\ barcodereader8-21298 ...
Perhaps the assembly reference in your project file isn't set correctly.
